Technical Project Manager (Remote)

Pathcore is a remote-first biotech company specializing in whole slide digital pathology image management and workflow. We develop advanced enterprise software used throughout the medical market to manage pathology data and support cancer information. We are passionate about developing software that makes a difference. 

 

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager with a good blend of business consulting and data analysis skills to join the Engineering team and oversee the management of various technical projects, and assist with the planning of product development.

 

 

Qualifications - What you need to get the job

  • Professional experience with infrastructure or architecture in a Linux environment

  • 4+ years of professional project management experience, in a technical setting

  • PMP Certification or similar

  • Extensive knowledge of GitLab or similar issue management systems 

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the SDLC

  • Ability to execute project phases from initial scoping through deployment

  • Experience compiling and assessing analytics

  • Strong software development background, including product development and cloud management

  • Experience operating within an Agile environment, and taking the lead on best practices

  • Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with a variety of people

 

Responsibilities - What you’ll do day to day

  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to define project requirements

  • Manage technical projects from end to end, including scoping, scheduling, and tracking requirements

  • Assist team members in resolving project roadblocks 

  • Plan and assign tasks

  • Identify, communicate, and help mitigate risks to projects and tasks

  • Monitor and report on project analytics

  • Communicate project and feature status with stakeholders

  • Explore and learn new technologies
