Marketing Coordinator

Toronto, Ontario   |   Full time

About Pathcore

Pathcore is a Toronto-based software company specializing in digital pathology image management and workflow solutions.  We strive to modernize and improve the practice of pathology, bringing the field into 2019 with smart, sleek, web-based applications.

About the Position

Pathcore is looking for a marketing coordinator, a communicator at heart with the willingness and skill to command a diverse palate of marketing activities in the digital pathology space.  Our ideal candidate has the courage to contribute new ideas, the enthusiasm to learn lots (digital pathology is cool, trust us), and the responsibility to meet deadlines and work hard without supervision.

Backed by a strong foundation in writing and communication, the candidate will ideate, manage, and track a variety of marketing collateral, both digital and traditional.  In collaboration with a graphic designer and sales team, the candidate can expect to handle newsletters, Tweets, tradeshow logistics, website content, CRM setup, and more.  And if there’s something we’re not doing, that’s your chance to impress!

Those looking for a role where they can contribute and learn in equal measure will fit in fast.

This position is full time, with competitive compensation.  Our office is located in downtown Toronto, steps away from College Park and the MaRS discovery district.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage Pathcore’s website, with the help of a developer, to increase conversions and reduce bounce rates

  • Coordinate and develop content for newsletters, email marketing, social media, blogs, white papers, and use-cases

  • Manage contact lists for email marketing, and assist sales with CRM software when needed

  • Maintain and leverage Pathcore’s Twitter and LinkedIn profiles

  • Monitor the success of marketing material, and identify, act on, and discuss trends with management and sales

  • Oversee and lead the production of design elements for marketing material

  • A prior internship, or prior experience in digital marketing

  • Professional writing skills

  • The ability to evaluate content (both one’s own and others), and edit to a publishable standard with no errors

  • Concise communication skills in team settings, providing constructive feedback and iterating on ideas when necessary

  • Strong organization, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once

  • Familiarity with Google analytics and G Suite

If this sounds like a chance for you to grow alongside an exciting brand, please apply with a resume and cover letter.  New grads are welcome, too!
