Pathcore is a remote-first biotech company specializing in whole slide digital pathology image management and workflow. We develop advanced enterprise software used throughout the medical market to manage pathology data and support cancer information. We are passionate about developing software that makes a difference. 

 

As our engineering team grows we’ve identified a need for a QA / QC Engineer to join the team. As the QA Engineer you’ll be developing and conducting software testing, helping to ensure we’re providing quality products to the healthcare community.

 

Qualifications - What you need to get the job

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software QA analysis
  • Experience working with JavaScript / Python in a Linux environment
  • Experience developing QA methodology
  • Experience with the requirements analysis, definition, and specification processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of test management tools such as Selenium
  • Ability to self-manage and project manage
  • Ability to thrive in an asynchronous environment while maintaining strong relationships across the company
  • Enjoy creatively deconstructing and breaking working software

 

Responsibilities - What you’ll do day to day

  • Identify gaps and develop high-quality, well-vetted software release procedures
  • Develop, implement, and execute software testing strategies
  • Coordinate across the Engineering team to automate test processes
  • Perform manual testing as needed
  • Track and report on testing activities (test results, test case coverage, defects, etc)
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes
  • Provide consistent test feedback to the development team
  • Explore and learn new technologies
