We develop advanced enterprise software used throughout the medical market to manage pathology data and support cancer information. Working with our sales and marketing team, we’re looking for an energetic entry-level Sales Development Representative focused on inside sales. The company is growing, and we want you to be part of making that happen.
Responsibilities - What you’ll do day to day
Build relationships, pursue referrals, and conduct research to identify qualified B2B sales leads for the organization
Proactively call both new prospects and existing customers to position the company’s solutions, software, services and support services
Contact prospects by telephone and email and identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline
Data entry and management of sales databases and reporting via CRM
Keep sales forecasting data and customer information accurate/current
Work with the marketing team to promote company brand and product awareness via marketing and sales campaigns
Engage and work closely with regional sales peers and/or channel-reseller partners to oversee sales cycles from lead generation to opportunity, to order closure, to revenue recognition
Travel as required to meet with existing and potential customers and partners as well as to represent the company at various events
Schedule appointments for qualified opportunities and support sales staff with product demonstration, the sales process and respond to requests from customers for information
Pursue leads from marketing events, trade shows, and other activities
Develop and track the performance of sales and marketing efforts and their effectiveness

Some exposure to sales, specifically B2B
Willing to spend all day sending emails and making calls
Comfortable working with computer software and applications
Able to achieve targets with minimal supervision
Passion for learning
Ability to grow from failure
Very very strong interpersonal skills
You need to be the type of person who’s excited by a challenge, motivated to take the initiative in making things happen, and have enough people skills to engage positively with others remotely
What gives you bonus points?
Knowledge of pathology, cancer informatics, or a degree in health sciences
Experience with medical imaging software, image analysis, or microscopy
Willingness to wear multiple hats (literally and figuratively)
